A VFX buddy just founded a company. They will help you to get awesome lighting and effects into your game! So far, their portfolio features: Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, Helldivers 2 & Starship Troopers: Extermination.
Sohan did not only share a cool VFX on my discord, but also shows iterations how the effect developed (love to see those!), Embergen settings and the textures - and those you can even use if you want as CC0 (no crediting necessary and can be used for commercial work)!
It's WIP, but a cool optimization because usually decals don't instance. Tom is working on using Niagara for such decals, which should result in only one draw call for all of them.
